Davao City — June 5, 2025

A meaningful dialogue took place between the Philippine College of Lifestyle Medicine (PCLM) and the Board of Trustees of Adventist Hospital Davao (AHD) as both parties met to explore a potential partnership for a Lifestyle Medicine training program.

The meeting centered on strengthening AHD’s commitment to wholistic, preventive, and Christ-centered care, with Lifestyle Medicine as a key strategy in addressing chronic disease through evidence-based lifestyle interventions.

Representatives from PCLM shared the core principles of Lifestyle Medicine and how training programs can empower healthcare professionals to lead transformative health initiatives in their communities. The AHD Board of Trustees responded with enthusiasm, noting how such a partnership aligns with the hospital’s mission of promoting total wellness.

A quick photo was taken after the meeting, marking the beginning of what could become a valuable collaboration in advancing health and healing in Mindanao and beyond.

The proposed training program is expected to benefit physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, while also positioning AHD as a leading Lifestyle Medicine Center in the Southern Philippines.
