Davao City — February 24, 2025
Adventist Hospital Davao (AHD) held a special Blessing and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on February 24, 2025, to dedicate nine newly completed projects aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and staff support. The event was graced by key leaders from the Adventist healthcare network, including Mr. Roy Perez, Chief Executive Officer of the Adventist International Health System Philippines, Inc. (AIHSPI).
Also in attendance were Ms. Jo Ann Amparo, Healthcare Director of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD); leaders from the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM); hospital staff and officers; hospital presidents from Adventist institutions across the Philippines; and members of the AIHSPI Board of Trustees. Their presence reflected a strong sense of unity and shared commitment to advancing Adventist healthcare in the region.
The ceremony celebrated the completion and blessing of the following nine projects:
- CT Scan equipment
- Histopathology laboratory
- Non-corrosive oxygen tanks purchase
- Resuscitation and isolation room
- Endoscopy machine
- Newly constructed staff house ready for occupation
- Purchase of a Toyota service vehicle
- Electric power house
- Covered court façade
Each ribbon-cutting moment symbolized a step forward in AHD’s efforts to deliver Christ-centered, patient-focused, and quality-driven healthcare.
The program included prayers of thanksgiving, dedication messages, and guided tours of the new facilities. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and hope as hospital leaders recommitted themselves to the mission of healing and service.
