As part of its commitment to cultivating Christ-centered leadership across its network of healthcare institutions, the Adventist International Health System Philippines, Inc. (AIHSPI) led a leadership development seminar at Adventist Medical Center Bacolod (AMC Bacolod) on May 16, 2025. The event, titled “Mastering the Art of Feedback,” featured AIHSPI Chief Executive Officer Mr. Roy Perez as the keynote speaker.
The seminar brought together AMC Bacolod’s department managers for an interactive session focused on the essential role of feedback in leadership, organizational growth, and mission alignment. Organized in collaboration with AMC Bacolod, the initiative reflected AIHSPI’s strategic focus on equipping hospital leaders with tools to foster healthy communication, build trust, and drive continuous improvement.
In his talk, Mr. Perez underscored the importance of delivering feedback with “truth, grace, and intention,” framing it as a spiritual and professional responsibility. Drawing from both practical experience and biblical principles, he emphasized that feedback, when grounded in love and purpose, can become a powerful expression of servant leadership.
The seminar also featured hands-on activities and open dialogue, allowing participants to reflect on their communication approaches and gain confidence in creating feedback-rich environments within their departments.
